What is His Healing Hand Ministries and what are we called to do?

We are a Purpose driven non-denominational ministry located in Orlando, Florida working with those who need to find renewal in their life. His Healing Hand Ministries is a reentry ministry reaching those behind bars to recover from the past and move on. It is based @ The Orange County Corrections Center in Orlando, Florida providing reentry and substance abuse services to those residing at the facility and also those returning from a time in state corrections. We are also running a reentry program at the John E. Polk Correctional Facility in Sanford, FL. "Step Forward"

To those who minister and work in our community at area churches, with the homeless, providing addiction recovery programs, and ministering to those behind bars, you are invited to join us at "Step Forward". This is a monthly resource meeting to help us all in our ministries and programs to provide resources from many organizations and to learn what area ministries have to offer.

The monthly meetings are being held on the second Monday each month @ Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church 412 E. Kennedy Blvd, in Eatonville@ 7PM. The next date for meeting is, July 13th.

This will also allow you the opportunity to share what your organization provides in a relaxed setting. It will feature several informational programs, a time of sharing, and a time of prayer. A mentor training class for you, your church or your ministry to help you work with those returning from a time behind bars biblically. This is provided through a training session that will last 2 and a half hours and is provided at no cost.  The training for mentors will be using the Prison Fellowship program which has helped with mentor education for 1000's of people throughout the United States over the past 20 years.
